Where does the name spermidine come from?

Spermidine is a naturally occurring organic compound, called a polyamine, found in our bodies. It was first isolated from semen in the mid-1900s. Because of this, it was called ‘spermidine’.

The highest conentrations are found in semen, breast milk, and babies. So the founders of spermidineLIFE figured that it had something to do with the aging process and longevity, so this lead to lots of research and eventually a supplement product.
